A global accounting firm found that their pre-partner leaders were lacking in skills in several areas that would become essential to the leaders’ continued growth. Behaviors at the next level were expected to move significantly into successful management of the business and leadership of others. The company knew this was an opportunity for high-impact training that could also reinforce the firm’s culture and strategic growth plans.

Our Approach
Partnering with the client, St. Charles Consulting Group designed a new program targeted to the senior manager level within the firm. In addition to building the agenda for the three-day workshop, we created all content to support the segments pertaining to business development. We teamed with experts within the firm to deliver on the strategy and business management components. The program we developed focuses on four key areas of responsibility at the senior manager level: execution of firm strategy, growing the business, managing the business, and exemplary personal leadership.

The leadership program delivered high-impact results to a critical band of pre-partner leadership. The training successfully affected the critical mindset of the participants and cultivated new strategic knowledge and skill. The program is now a milestone program that new partners attend soon after their promotion.
